Video: Pop-up downpour, thunderstorm possible in northern N.H.
What's happening
A pop-up downpour and thunderstorm are possible in northern New Hampshire this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
The storm is expected to move through the area between 2 and 4 p.m., bringing with it heavy rain and gusty winds.
The NWS has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Coos, Grafton, and Carroll counties.
What to do
If you are in the area, be sure to take precautions to stay safe during the storm.
- Stay indoors if possible.
- If you must go outside, be sure to wear waterproof clothing and shoes.
- Be aware of your surroundings and watch for downed trees and power lines.
