Baltimore Orioles infielder Michael Busch has been named the National League Player of the Week for the period ending July 24, 2023. Busch, who made his Major League debut earlier this season, has been tearing up opposing pitchers in recent weeks.

Over the past seven games, Busch has slashed an incredible .400/.429/.846 with three home runs, eight RBIs, and six runs scored. He has also drawn four walks and struck out just four times.

Busch's performance has been a key factor in the Orioles' recent success. Baltimore has won six of their last seven games and is now just 3.5 games out of a Wild Card spot.

The 24-year-old Busch is a product of the Orioles' farm system. He was drafted by Baltimore in the first round of the 2019 MLB Draft.
