Dakota Hudson Welcomes Wife and Family to Colorado
A Welcomed Change
For Colorado Rockies starting pitcher Dakota Hudson, having his wife and family close by is a major relief. After spending time living in a hotel in Hudson, Wyoming, while his wife Ashlen and sons Nolan and Cooper remained in Leawood, Kansas, Hudson is now able to enjoy the support of his family in Colorado.
Benefits of Family Proximity
Hudson expressed his gratitude for having his family nearby, saying, "It's just a lot easier to be able to come home and have somebody there to talk to, to be able to have somebody to help out with the kids, to be able to just be a normal person." The proximity to his family also allows Hudson to focus on his pitching without the added stress of being away from his loved ones.
