Meralco Bolts Grab 2-1 Advantage

The Meralco Bolts have now won two in a row to grab a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven semifinal series against Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. The Bolts defeated the Gin Kings 103-91 in Game 3 at the Mall on Sunday, May 19.

Stanley Pringle and Ralph Cu led the charge for Meralco in the fourth quarter, scoring key baskets to seal the victory. Maverick Ahanmisi was the only other Ginebra player to reach double digits in scoring, finishing with 13 points.

Ginebra, who drew first blood in the series, will now face an elimination game in Game 4 on Tuesday, May 21. The Gin Kings will need to win the next three games to advance to the finals.
