Hat-trick Propels Los Blancos to Triumph Over Barcelona

Real Madrid produced a dominant display to claim the Spanish Super Cup with a resounding 4-1 victory over arch-rivals Barcelona on Sunday.
Brazilian forward Vinícius Júnior stole the show, scoring a magnificent hat-trick within just 39 minutes to put Real Madrid in complete control. His first goal came after a stunning solo run, weaving past several Barcelona defenders before firing home. His second was a clinical finish from close range, and his third was a deft chip over Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen.
Barcelona briefly rallied back in the second half through a goal from Robert Lewandowski, but any hopes of a comeback were extinguished when Rodrygo scored Real Madrid's fourth in the 64th minute.
The victory marks Real Madrid's first Spanish Super Cup triumph since 2020. It is also a major boost for Carlo Ancelotti's side, who have now won five matches in a row in all competitions.
Vinícius Júnior was named Man of the Match for his outstanding performance. His hat-trick was the first by a Real Madrid player in a competitive match against Barcelona since Cristiano Ronaldo in 2018.
The victory will give Real Madrid a major psychological boost ahead of their upcoming La Liga and Champions League fixtures. Barcelona, meanwhile, will need to regroup quickly as they face a daunting challenge against Real Sociedad in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday.
